Uhhhhhhhh, ok then? I mean, these are the same people who decided Left for Dead 2 needed to be boycotted just because it was coming out a year after 1, but I don't get it. Volvo sounds a lot like Valve, ok. I get that. But this? Is it because people like Valve so much they can't bring themselves to directly criticize them? Or is this just an excuse to just be a general dumbass troll on the internet? Actually it probably just that.

It's a whole lot like playing counterstrike. I really like Dota, but can't handle the people. Even TF2 is much better, at least on the servers I frequent.

Purely personal bias, but I look at those games, and their associated copycats, as focal points for everything wrong with online gaming. The over-emphasis on competition, the commodification of playing, the vicious hatred of everyone else, the kids who are obviously young but feel some need to compensate for this by using lots of words they hear on TV.

I've been playing various forms of online games since ~2000, and while I am happy to see the gaming industry become more and more wide-spread, it does unfortunately mean that more assholes find their way in, especially as certain areas begin to cater to their needs specifically. /minirant

I tried playing LoL recently just to see what is it all about.
Its crap. Its nothing but a waste of internets filled with 14 year olds that are apperently OMG pr0. Teamplay sucks. Graphics is crap. And to top it all off making any progress in the game is close to impossible. That is if you dont want to spend any real monies.

God how i miss old Call Of Duty 2/Diablo times.
